The Fast-Track 8000 Handler has been designed as the ultimate machine for I.C. Handling needs. The Fast-Track 8000 is capable of handling components stored in multiple-medias to and from programming/test sites. Media options for input and output include standard and non-standard JEDEC trays, taped devices, bowl feed/bucket and plastic/metal tubes. The Fast-Track 8000 system can be configured with multiple programming/test sites, laser mark capabilities, differential temperature testing, and 3D vision inspection. The Fast-Track 8000 is a versatile handler, capable of producing "finished" components.

The Fast-Track 8000 is designed with a JEDEC tray stacker (up to 20 trays). The machine has up to eight Pick & Place heads to allow for quick and precise component handling. The handler is designed to directly dock to the test heads for easy removal of the DUT board with no need to reposition the system. The Fast-Track 8000 has an "easy to use" Windows based control software. An operator can be trained to use the machine in less than four hours. The Fast-Track System is capable of handling up to 5000 units per hour.

Amongst many of the features standard on the Fast-Track are:

• Differential Temperature Testing.
• Dual Pick-up Heads with 90 Deg Rotation.
• Up to five JEDEC Tray Stackers (more available upon request)
• All axes are Servo Motor driven.
• Windows Operating System.
• Single keyboard/mouse with LCD Flat Panel Monitor.
• Safety Covers and Interlocks.
• Multiple Emergency Stop Buttons.

Input/Output Options:

Output is to either a JEDEC Tray Stacker or Model 1080 Automatic Taper for 8 to 72 mm tapes, PSA or Thermal Seal. De-Tape Input. Input and Output Tube Feeders.

Hot/Cold Options:

-55°C to +155°C with an accuracy of +/- 1°C.

Inspection Options:

True 3D Coplanarity Inspection is available for:
SOIC/TSOP
PLCC/LCC/MCM
PQFP/TPQFP
BGA/uBGA
CSP

Laser Marking Options:
The system can be configured with a Trumpf Laser Marker. The marking can be completed in tray and no tooling is required.
