Measuring Systems
Franklin Mechanical & Control Inc. has builds a variety of measuring systems and below are examples of a few Measuring Systems that have been built.
6"x6" Measuring System
This system was an upgrade provided to a research lab. Franklin MCI provided a new custom 1 inch thick aluminum base plate, a new 6"x 6" Motorized Open Frame Measuring Stage and their Z-1000M z-column. Franklin also provided the 3 axis joystick controller. Franklin modified and used the customer's underneath lighting, their microscope, and illumination system. Using Franklin's precision products they can build a wide variety of custom Measurement Systems.
Measuring Stage with Motorized Stage and Z-Column
Motorized System with measuring software. This system features brand new Olympus Optics, a granite base with Franklin's 6x6 Open Frame Motorized Measuring Stage. This also has Franklin's Z-1000M motorized 10-inch travel Z-column. Franklin or the customer can provide the computer and controller, and Franklin will manage the complete system integration. By using Franklin precision products they can build a wide variety of custom Measurement Systems.
Manual Measuring System with Older Olympus Microscope
Franklin MCI built this system for a customer who provided their own optics. They provided the Base, Manual Measuring Stage and a Z-1000 manual 10-inch travel Z-column. Franklin built the custom mount for the microscope and provided linear scales and a digital readout. Using Franklin's precision products they can build a wide variety of Custom Measurement Systems.
66MO with Linear Scales
This Measuring System was made to perform wafer inspection and measurement. Using Franklin MCI's Model # 66MO motorized stage, linear scales were added and a digital readout. The stage was mounted to their FM88 8-inch microscope stand and a custom vacuum chuck for holding the wafer was provided. With this system you could rotate and inspect the wafer, revisit locations and do measurements by use of the linear scales and digital readout. Using Franklin MCI's Precision Products they can build a wide variety of Custom Measurement Systems.
Measuring System with Union Optics
Franklin MCI provided custom 1 inch thick Aluminum Base Plate, 6x6 Open Frame Manual Measuring Stage. Franklin integrated the system using customer supplied illumination and Aluminum Z-Column type post. Using Franklin Precision Products they can build a wide variety of Custom Measurement Systems.
